(I have done this on Windows 10 and do not know how it works on any other OS, so if it works for you on any other systems, please let others know in the comments section).ġ- Install latest version of LGS and restart your pc.Ģ - Open up your playback devices by right clicking the speaker icon on the taskbar.ģ - Right click on your Logitech headset and click on properties.Ĥ - When a new window pops up, on the general tab, click on properties inside the Controller Information box.ĥ- Now you should be inside the G933 Properties page. Let others know if it also works for you. The steps below which I have tried, has worked for me, I do not know if it'll work for anyone else, but now I am able to use the latest version of software and still have high AF volume. The only workaround I found was to delete LGS and I would be able to use the headset normally, although not being able to use the software at all was a bummer. At most, I get 2-3 hours of battery life.So like many in this sub, I was getting a low volume issue with my headset. That being said, battery life on these is mostly irrelevant because of three current issues:ġ) the battery never seems to charge 100%, or maybe the capacity on mine has just dropped significantly over 2 months of ownership (80% max charge for mine)Ģ) the headset will occasionally turn on (including LED lighting, even with the settings for it turned off) for no reason, which means the headset has battery drain when not in use - I'm seeing this issue daily.ģ) there is a bug in the firmware (possibly hardware issue?) that throws a low battery warning when the battery gets below 50%īecause of these issues, I charge my battery nightly, it has around 80% life when "fully" charged, and stops working when the battery reaches 50%. I can't remember where the setting is exactly, but under custom lighting settings you can select no lighting, should increase the battery life from ~9 hours to ~12 hours. Feel free to add tips/tricks below and I will add them to the list. I also don't know if any of this is applicable to the G633. I do not known anything regarding the connection/range issues because I have not experienced them. I don't know if this is the preferred configuration, but it makes sense to me. I am not able to get the subwoofer channel in Windows speaker properties to work, so I have unchecked subwoofer from the list of speaker options and marked front and surround speakers as full-range. there will still be some noise in the earcup swivel, but there should only be a minimal amount once the headset is on your ears. Headset creaky plastic noise - (very) gently tighten the four phillips screws above and two phillips screws below the earcup swivel, for each side. it is unknown if they intend to resolve this issue The sidetone is very quiet - this has already been brought to logitech's attention. this is why the red light appears even if it if the microphone is put away (this should be fixed by logitech in the firmware, if they are able to do so), and they should because that LED is technically draining the battery. The microphone light indicates that the microphone is muted, not enabled. The headband adjustment can become loose over time, (very) gently tighten the four phillips screws on the top left and top right of the headband Noise in 3.5mm line - try a different sound card or line out, I've noticed weird noise from my laptop that is not present in either my phone (android) or iPad Pro If you are experiencing issues with microphone audio quality, try setting the sample rate to 16-bit, 32000 Hz (FM Radio Quality) If you are having an issue with wireless volume being too low, or hearing audio glitches/skipping, try changing the default sample rate to 16-bit, 44100 Hz (CD Quality) The unit should be detected and update the firmwareĪfter the firmware update, unplug the USB cable, reconnect the battery, then turn the unit back on If the headset will not turn off in 45 seconds, do the following firmware update procedure: Switching the unit off the buttons should cease to work until the unit is turned back on
